I was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In our capital a lot of things happen. Worldwide many stories are being told and the best thing is, most of them are true. After graduating from highschool I studied at the Academy of Music in Rotterdam and learned to play Jazz- and Rockguitar. One of my teachers was the great Jazzguitarplayer Joe Pass, who's no longer among us. In my home I still treasure a guitarpick which he gave me. When I was still a student I started playing in a Theme Park. I was supposed to play Folk and other acoustic stuff. I began to love it a and started writing my own songs. I felt the need to sing them myself so that's how I became a singer/songwriter. Like the tradition of the ancient troubadours I write songs about life in general. So I write serious-, love-, comedy-, ridiculous- and even protestsongs. Maybe it's foolish but that’s "Who I Want To Be". I spent my days taking care of my two kids, loving my wife, writing songs, composing music, giving guitarlessons and I perform. I hope one day, I'll get the chance to play for you.
